THWS International (Application)

International students and applicants can contact the International Office of the University (HSIN) via email at degreeseeker[at]thws.de in case any support for the application is needed.
International applicants, who are already admitted, can contact the International Student Support via welcome[at]thws.de 

Admission requirements / Language requirements 

For applicants with German university entrance qualification:

Required level of German: German A2.

Recommended level of English: Due to the fact that the whole degree programme is taught in English, we strongly recommend our interested candidates an English language proficiency of the level B2*.

(*Level B2 is achieved if the general university entrance qualification certificate shows at least a ‘sufficient’ grade in the continued foreign language (i.e. in the first or second foreign language at grammar school or at a corresponding level at another type of school leading to a general higher education entrance qualification) or if the technical college entrance qualification certificate from a public or state-recognised technical college or vocational college shows at least a grade of ‘sufficient’ in the language in question. Alternatively, level B2 can also be demonstrated by other official evidence (e.g. TOEFL certificate or equivalent language certificate).
