Prof. Dr. Stephanie Baumgarten specializes in a diverse range of subjects within the field of finance and entrepreneurship, including:

Since October 2021, Prof. Dr. Stephanie Baumgarten has served as Vice Dean at the THWS Business School. She has been a Professor of Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship at the institution since April 2018, bringing extensive academic and professional expertise to her teaching and research.

Her professional career includes leadership roles in the corporate sector, such as:

Head of International Business at Flyeralarm GmbH, Würzburg
Director Corporate Business Development/M&A at Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA, Bad Homburg
Associate Corporate Finance/M&A at Metzler Investmentbanking, Frankfurt

Earlier in her career, Prof. Baumgarten worked as a Research Associate at the Chair of Banking and Finance at the University of Würzburg (Prof. Dr. E. Wenger).

She earned her degree in Business Administration from the University of Würzburg and Troy State University (USA), with a focus on Banking and Finance, Auditing and Consulting, as well as Taxation.
