Double degree
A double degree programme was arranged with certain partner universities.
In these programmes, the guest students can obtain a degree from the THWS Business School in addition to the degree of their home university.
The THWS Business School is widely experienced with double degree agreements and has been active in this field since 1995.
Requirements
The THWS double degree programme is based on a 7-semester bachelor's degree programme with 210 credit points (CP) according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation Systems (ECTS).
60 CP or an equivalent amount of the 210 CP must be completed at a partner university abroad.
As a university of applied sciences, THWS students are required to complete an internship corresponding to 30 CP or an equivalent amount of credit points.
Tuition fees
Double degree students are enrolled at their home university for the entire duration of their studies and an additional year (two semesters) at the partner university.
Our University does not charge incoming students with study fees.
Obtaining the THWS degree
You meet all THWS regulations and you successfully completed your studies at your home university? Then you must submit some official documents to start the accreditation process at THWS. This process may take some time which is why we would ask you to start it as soon as possible.
Please submit the following documents electronically:
- Bachelor thesis/ final thesis as PDF-file
- Certified* copy of the bachelor's certificate of your home university in German or English
- Certified* copy of the transcript of records of your home university in German or English
- Certified* copy of the grade of your bachelor's thesis in German or English if this grade is not included in the transcript of records.
* Your home university or a notary public may certify copies.
Please send all files to Professor Dr. Rainer Wehner.
