The master's programme in Managing Global Dynamics provides you with in-depth business knowledge combined with intercultural and strategic skills to operate successfully in dynamic, globalised business fields. Over three semesters, you will learn to analyse economic processes, practise agile management, and develop innovative solutions in an intensive, practical setting. Practical projects and a semester abroad complement your profile.

In-depth fundamentals (1st semester)

In the first semester, you will lay the foundation for your international career. You will get to know yourself even better and develop a sustainable vision for your professional future. You will receive a comprehensive introduction to core business subjects, digital business models, strategic approaches, and intercultural characteristics – all in a practical setting with small groups. This will prepare you optimally for the challenges of global markets and give you a deep understanding of the dynamics of the global economy.

Compulsory semester abroad (2nd semester)

In the second semester, you will complete a compulsory semester abroad at one of our renowned international partner universities. During this phase, you will expand your intercultural skills and gain valuable practical experience in a global environment. You will immerse yourself in new cultural contexts and learn to work successfully in international teams.

Final phase (3rd semester)

In the final semester, you will apply the knowledge you have built in a practice-oriented research project and write your master's thesis. This can also focus on your own start-up. Here, you will consolidate your leadership skills and deepen your strategic abilities in order to impress as a future manager in international companies. This practice-oriented degree will provide you with the essential skills you need for a successful career in global management.

Compulsory semester abroad

In the second semester of the master's programme in Managing Global Dynamics at THWS, you will complete a compulsory semester abroad. Admission requires a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g. in Business Administration, International Management, Business and Engineering or similar) with a grade of 2.5 or better, or an equivalent qualification.

Admission to the degree programme Managing Global Dynamics is restricted (Numerus Clausus).
