EU-Projekt COMMITTED: Projekttreffen in Kouvola

Vom 17. Bis zum 19. September 2023 traf sich das sog. Steering Committee des Erasmus+ Projektes „COMMITTED” in Kouvola, Finnland. Im Rahmen von COMMITTED forschen fünf Hochschulen unter Leitung der Budapest Business University zum Thema Compliance im Außenhandel, insbesondere bezogen auf geistiges Eigentum im Rahmen von Forschung und Lehre. Neben der FWiWi auf Seiten der THWS sind Hochschulen aus Olomouc (Tschechien), Kouvola (Finnland), Groningen (Niederlande) sowie der Praxispartner MBKT (Ungarn) beteiligt.
Jede Institution hat gleichzeitig einen Sitz im Steering Committee, dessen Aufgabe es ist, die Projektfortschritte gem. den im Projektantrag bei der EU gemachten Angaben zu prüfen, zu überwachen und ggf. leitend einzugreifen. „Wir sind auf einem sehr guten Weg, wesentliche Projektziele wurden bereits erreicht, kleinere Anpassungen in Bezug auf die Kommunikation der Projektergebnisse sind derzeit die einzigen Optimierungspunkte“, so Markus Engert für die THWS.

From September 17 to 19, 2023, the Steering Committee of the Erasmus+ project "COMMITTED" met in Kouvola, Finland. Within the framework of COMMITTED, five universities under the leadership of Budapest Business University are conducting research on the topic of compliance in foreign trade, especially related to intellectual property in the context of research and teaching. In addition to FWiWi of THWS, universities from Olomouc (Czech Republic), Kouvola (Finland), Groningen (Netherlands) as well as the practice partner MBKT (Hungary) are involved.
Each institution also has a seat in the Steering Committee, whose task is to review and monitor the progress of the project in accordance with the information provided to the EU in the project application, and to intervene in a guiding role if necessary. "We are on a very good way, essential project goals have already been achieved, minor adjustments regarding the communication of project results are currently the only optimization points", says Markus Engert for THWS.
